X-Men: McKellen IS Magneto

You all know our love for Michael Fassbender knows no bounds, but there's no denying the sheer awesomeness of Sir Ian 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS' McKellen - the original Magneto.

So this latest Twitter treat from X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer has understandably caused a little excitement at GG♥SF HQ.

The Vine video shows a montage of metal objects before we finally see Sir Ian himself give us a cheeky wink from the make-up chair.

Singer also posted a picture of a prop from the set - showing a mocked-up Oxford University thesis by James 'Yummy' McAvoy's character Charles Xavier.
