Superman's 75th Birthday Celebrated With New Man Of Steel Pic!

Today marked the 75th birthday of one of the world's first and finest superheroes - Superman. The first issue of Action Comics hit news stands out on April 18th, 1938.

He's looking pretty good for his age, eh?

To celebrate, this new still from Man of Steel has been released, showing Henry Cavill's incarnation of Kal-El in all his muscle-bound, lycra-clad Kryptonian glory.

Long live the Man of Steel!


Man of Steel, starring Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Russell Crowe as Jor-El and Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, hits cinemas on June 14.
