You know that Blake's 7 remake? The one what people have been talking about for years but still hasn't materialised on our tellyboxes?
Well, it's definitely, 100% going ahead - and with 13 episodes, no less.
US network Syfy teamed up with FreemantleMedia to develop the series, which will be written by Joe Pokaski (Heroes), directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) and produced by Georgeville TV.
Described as a "revolutionary reinvention" of Terry Nation's classic 70s sci-fi drama, the new Blake's 7 will be set in 2136, as rebellion hero Blake and his crew acquire an alien ship which gives them a second chance at life.
"Blake's 7 was such a forward-thinking concept that the show continues to have resonance with audiences today," said David Ellender, CEO FremantleMedia International.
"Its complex characters and gritty storylines, coupled with the highly talented team and modern production techniques are sure to appeal to both original fans of the show and new viewers."
