We've never made it to Belgium for Tomorrowland, but by all accounts the festival is a fantastic three day celebration of all things electro and dance. And it's pretty popular, too. Already sold out for 2013, this year's event will see sets from top international DJs - two of whom will star in Titan's new comic book series based on the event.
Written by Eisner award winner Paul Jenkins (Spider-Man, Darkness, Sentry, Inhumans, Wolverine: Origin, Batman) and illustrated by art team Stellar Labs (Hulk, Superman, Power Girl, Cyber-Force, Heavy Metal), Tomorrowland follows Belgian brothers DJs Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike as they are drawn into an impossible adventure to save the vital spark of creativity from the forces that would destroy it.
“This is a chance to integrate a storyline into the festival itself,” said writer Paul Jenkins. “Those attending the show will see the comic elements appear around them and on stage scenes. The world of the graphic novel will come alive!”
"Paul Jenkins is one of our heroes,” added DJs Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. “We loved working with him on this story and the way he brought this to the next level. We just created a new universe that we're going to expand exponentially in the next few years!"
Tomorrowland #1 will hit comic stores on July 17, 2013, and will be available on the iPad, iPhone, Web, Android and Kindle Fire, exclusively through the comiXology app and comiXology.com.
