Ruffalo Smashes Hulk Movie Rumours

In many people's opinions - including ours - Mark Ruffalo is the best movie Hulk of all time ever.

But those with hopes of seeing him star in his own solo movie might have to wait a while yet.

Marvel Studios' president Kevin Feige first set the rumour mill aflame when he told MTV News that he felt a Hulk movie could "absolutely" happen last year.

But The Ruff has recently been forced to deny the resulting rumours following persistent questioning from fans.

"A lot of folks have been asking about the next Hulk," he wrote on Twitter. "The next time you see my Hulk it will be in The Avengers 2. No plans for standalone.

"I am not giving up on another standalone Hulk," he continued. "But it's not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring."

We're keeping our fingers crossed for some action from Bruce Banner and his big green alter ego in the near future.

Avengers 2 will hit cinemas on May 1, 2015.
