Irish actor Chris O'Dowd has revealed that he has filmed a single scene for Thor: The Dark World.
The actor made himself the the envy of men the world over, tweeting: "So today I'm filming a date scene with Natalie Portman. #UpTheRossies"
He also told Indiwire: "I don't know if I'd do an action movie, because I don't know if I could keep a straight face honestly, I just think it's so silly. Like I love watching them but I can't imagine me doing one.
"Actually, you know what I've done, just for fun because I didn't think there was any way that I could be in a superhero movie... I've done a scene in the new Thor movie, just for that. I just do like one scene, which was quite fun."
O'Dowd is rumoured to be playing Dr. Donald Blake, the ex-boyfriend of Natalie Portman's character Jane Foster. But, assuming that he is taking on an established Marvel character, internet speculation also surrounds the roles of Jake Olson, Eric Masterson and Keith Kincaid.
Thor: The Dark World hits UK cinemas on 30th October, and goes stateside on 8th November, 2013.
