Speaking at the SXSW festival in Austin this week, Neil Gaiman has given us some choice gossip about the situation surrounding the upcoming adaptations of his works, American Gods and Sandman.
The writer revealed that he's still working on the script for the American Gods pilot, saying HBO are "very patiently" waiting for his third draft.
Sandman, meanwhile, is in the hands of Warner Bros and DC Comics. "Sandman is completely and utterly owned by DC which is Warner Bros," he said. "It may go over to the big screen or stay with Warner Television. They don't tell me."
In the meantime, we're proper excited about BBC Radio 4's adaptation of his TV series and novel Neverwhere, which stars all manner of sexy voiced stars and hits the wireless this Saturday.
