We were invited by the lovely people at Sky Atlantic to the premiere of the third season of Game Of Thrones, at which we joined the cast to see the first episode and drank some lovely wine.
We were also treated to a Q&A with cast members Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) and the totally brilliant Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), who we now want to meet and make friends with.
For your benefit as much as theirs, Sky Atlantic have asked that we spoil nothing about the series' return - suffice to say it's a cracking premiere episode with the promise of much more cracking stuff to come.
We can, however, share the strictly spoiler-free Q&A hosted by Grace Dent, in which the cast discuss their characters and what they love most about working on the show… and Ms Christie tells half of what sounds like a very interesting tale from the set...

Game of Thrones returns to HBO in the US on March 31 and will debut in the UK on Sky Atlantic a day later on April 1.
