As we draw ever closer to Doctor Who's 50th anniversary celebrations, the rumour mill is a-churning with gossip about which former companions may or may not be a part of the special episode.
First up is some very good news indeed as John Barrowman has confirmed that he's in talks about reprising the role of Captain Jack Harkness.
"I haven't had any information up until just about right now - and all I can say to you is that we're discussing things... that's a total exclusive! You guys are the first to ever hear it," he announced on This Morning. But the actor went on to stress that negotiations are in very early stages.
He explained: "Even yesterday I was giving interviews and I was saying I have heard nothing, and now I can give you a little bit of an exclusive. I've heard something."
The actor went on to try to calm fan excitement on Twitter, telling his followers: "Re 50th I didn't say in what capacity or what medium so stay calm and carry on. Jb."
Calm? About the prospect of seeing Captain Jack flirt with the Eleventh Doctor? Are you kidding us, Barrowman?
Meanwhile, very vague hints from Arthur Darvill have got GG♥SF's knickers in a twist.
Speaking to Digital Spy, the actor revealed his motto is "never say never" when it comes to a Doctor Who return for Rory Williams.
"I'm so busy at the moment that I don't know if I'd be able to," he said. "But I'm very loyal to Doctor Who - I saw Steven Moffat recently and I think he's brilliant. He's one of those people that if he ever asked me to do anything, I'd do it."
In other Who news, we've been given a sneak peek at the series' revamped Ice Warriors courtesy of SFX, who unveiled the first image of the new look Martian race ahead of their return in Mark Gatiss' upcoming episode. They're looking lizard-like, and not a little fearsome.

And speaking of guest writers, we're set to see a new side of the Cybermen thanks to Neil Gaiman. Executive producer Caroline Skinner told SFX that the episode will bring "a new twist" to the Doctor's longtime enemy.
"One of the things that Neil was initially really excited about was being given one of the classic Doctor Who monsters and being able to bring a new twist," she said.
The episode - rumoured to be titled 'The Last Cyberman' - will also see the Doctor "in conflict with the Cybermen in a new way", Skinner hinted.
"[It's] a huge episode for Matt," she revealed. "It's a brilliant performance, that one. It's interesting what Neil does - he always delivers such wonderful visual sequences... but one of his real strengths is that he gets right to the heart of the characters as well."
Doctor Who will return to BBC One on Saturday, March 30 with premiere episode 'The Bells of St John'.
