Peter Dinklage Joins Days of Future Past Cast

Peter Dinklage's award-winning performance in Game of Thrones has impressed fans the world over. And it seems he's caught the eye of Hollywood, too.

Bryan Singer has recruited the actor to star in his upcoming X-Men sequel, Days of Future Past.

The director took to Twitter to confirm the news, saying: "Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!"

There's no word yet on which character Dinklage will play in the 1973-set movie, but the interweb is already ablaze with rumour and speculation.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will see Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore return to the series alongside James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, and is due to debut on July 18, 2014.
