The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug - New Trailer AND Pictures

 

Our crush on Orlando Bloom began over 10 years ago, when we first saw him in a blond wig and pointy elf ears. And he looks just as good returning as intense elf Legolas in the second part of Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation of Smaug.

We also get our first glimpse at Evangeline Lilly, who joins the cast as young elven warrior Tauriel, and a good and proper look at Benedict Cumberbatch's dastardly dragon, Smaug.

Martin Freeman reprises his role as Bilbo Baggins for the sequel, as he continues to support Dwarf king Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on his quest to reclaim the lost kingdom of Erebor.

Desolation is thought to be darker than last year's An Unexpected Journey, and more similar in tone to the Lord Of The Rings films.

We. Can't. Wait. 

The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug hits cinemas on 13 December 2013.
