If the internet were to be believed, the BBC are currently lining up EVERY ACTOR EVER to take over Doctor Who duties when Matt Smith leaves the show at the end of the year.
But one of the more intriguing names on the list is that of Julian Rhind-Tutt, known for his parts in Green Wing, Oliver Twist, A Touch Of Cloth, The Hour and… oh, loads of other things.
According to The Sun, the actor is under serious consideration, and we've got to say we like the rumour. We reckon Rhind-Tutt has just the right amount of quirky weirdness for the role.
Whoniverse favourite Burn Gorman is also said to be one of the final contenders, along with Threesome hunk Emun Elliott and Coupling actor Richard Coyle. But rumours persist that Skyfall star Rory Kinnear remains the favourite.
Meanwhile, Homeland actor David Harewood has admitted that if he were offered the role it would be "really difficult to turn down," (well, duh!) and Daniel Radcliffe very politely told the tabloid: "I've done one iconic character, that might be enough."
