Following speculation that he might leave the role after Iron Man 3, Robert Downey Jr has confirmed he'll star as Tony Stark in at least two more Marvel movies.
Not exactly a shocker, is it? After all, the past couple of years have seen RDJ star in two of the top five grossing films of all time.
Marvel Studios announced yesterday that the Hollywood actor will reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man in both The Avengers 2 and The Avengers 3.
The Avengers 2 will be written and directed by Joss Whedon, with production beginning in March 2014.
It is currently scheduled to open at cinemas on May 1, 2015.
