Following speculation about his involvement with the project earlier this month, actor John C Reilly has now been confirmed for Guardians Of The Galaxy.
And according to Deadline, the rumours were right - he'll play the very Coulson-like character, Rhomann Dey, and will appear as the go-between between the Guardians and Earth in several instalments in the franchise.
Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan and Michael Rooker have also joined the lineup of the upcoming film.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on August 1, 2014.
