It's a big Who news day today, along with the news that Matt Smith is set to leave Doctor Who, it's also been announced that Karen Gillan will play a lead villain in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.Gillan will be joined by Zoe Saldana (Star Trek) who is set to play the deadliest woman in the galaxy, Gamora. Glenn Close and John C. Reilly (Anchorman) are also rumoured to be involved.
More casting to be announced ahead of filming this summer with the UK release date of August 2014.
