If there's one complaint we have about X-Men: First Class, it's that the kick-ass character of Emma Frost was woefully underused. Despite January Jones' admirable ability to carry off the character's skimpy wardrobe, she didn't really have much to do, except stand around looking hot - a shameful waste of an intelligent, witty, powerful X-Man.
So it would be a pity, but no surprise if Frost was left out of the sequel altogether. Which looks like it could happen.
In an interview with Collider, Jones revealed she's completely in the dark when it comes to Bryan Singer's sequel, Days Of Future Past.
"I don't know that I'm in it, I don't think Emma's in this one. Well they haven't told me if I am," she said.
"I wouldn't put it past them though, I got the script for the first one on the airplane on the way there.
"It's called Days of Future Past, I think, and I think it's more about James [McAvoy] and Michael [Fassbender] and then Patrick [Stewart] and Ian [McKellen], and I think it's gonna go back and forth with those, so I don't think Emma's in those bits. I don't know, I really don't know."
Have you got that, people? She doesn't know.
If Mr Singer were to recruit Frost to the cause, we respectfully request that he makes good and proper use of the White Queen. She's more than just a big pair of boobs, after all.
