Luke Evans Is The Crow

The rumour mill has been working overtime trying to figure out which Hollywood actor would take on the seemingly much-coveted lead role in Relativity Media's upcoming remake of The Crow.

And now we know.

Welsh actor Luke Evans, off of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Fast & Furious 6, will play Eric Draven, a man who rises from the grave to avenge his murdered lover.

According to Deadline, the actor was the first choice following Bradley Cooper's departure from the project.

But sadly we'll have to wait a while to see how the remake turns out. Evans is a busy boy, having signed up to star in Dracula: Year Zero, and production on the movie has been rescheduled to 2014 to accommodate his schedule.
