If the latest Doctor Who rumours are true, Geeky Girl Cat's in for one hell of a birthday present this August.
The Radio Times reports that the Beeb will announce Matt Smith's replacement before filming on the 2013 Christmas special begins in late summer.
A spokesperson for the show added that production on the festive special - penned by showrunner Steven Moffat - remains "completely on track".
Despite wild speculation, we still have no idea who might take over the iconic role - though everybody has their favourites, of course.
Doctor Who will return to BBC One on Saturday, November 23 for its 50th anniversary special.
