Crowe Reveals Man Of Steel Spoiler

Angered by a few rumours doing the rounds, Russell Crowe has taken to Twitter to quash the gossip, and quash it good.

But before we go on...

**WARNING: As the headline suggests, this article contains spoilers. Thought you ought to know.**

Following speculation that Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot would see Kal-El sent to Earth for safety because of a genetic anomaly, Russell Crowe has set the record straight.

Superman's origin, of course, sees him dispatched off Krypton as a child, that he might survive the planet's imminent destruction.

And that's exactly what will happen in Man of Steel, cementing Clark Kent's existance as the last living Kryptonian...ish.

The actor posted: "Ahem... as I was saying... my name is Jor-El, of Krypton, as my planet dies I send to you my son, Kal. So he may live."

Well, that's that then.

Man of Steel will debut on June 14. Here's a trailer or two for your viewing pleasure.
